Primary health care school

Accessing good health care in rural Mozambique is not an easy thing to manage. If you’re passionate about making that a thing of the past and giving everyone a chance at health and life then this is the school for you.

With an integrated lecture and outreach phase, learning is ongoing and practical. We link the school with our helicopter outreaches to the remote villages in the Delta and work in conjunction with the local rural hospital and health posts.

As well as teaching the basics of anatomy and health systems, we cover some of the major diseases prevalent in areas like ours and look at practical, realistic ways of treating these sicknesses and educating communities in prevention.

Our students will not only treat and prevent diseases, but also teach about and demonstrate the love of God. We look forward to seeing not just the absence of sickness in a village, but the growth and development of abundant life in Christ.
